"Donegal County Council is the lead partner in the Partnership. We’re delivering a number of key strategic actions within the county and we’re doing that through a range of actions including the establishment of Port na Fáilte, our inter-cultural resource centre in Letterkenny. It has provided a really excellent focus point for minority communities, not just in Letterkenny but throughout the entire county. There’s a range of different programmes that the various ethnic minority communities can participate in. It’s given minority communities opportunities to integrate with the wider community and also to showcase their own cultures - the diversity of their cultures and the richness of their cultures."

Donegal County Council, the lead partner in the PEACE III Partnership, is delivering a number of key strategic actions within the county. It aims to do this through a range of actions including the establishment of Port na Fáilte, an inter-cultural resource centre in Letterkenny. Since it opened, the centre has provided an excellent focus point for minority communities from across the entire county. Port na Fáilte offers a range of different activities and programmes for ethnic minority communities to get involved in. In so doing, it has given the minority communities many opportunities to integrate with the wider community and to showcase their own culture.
