'No Half Measures - strategies to shift the gender balance in politics'

This seminar will discuss a range of measures including quotas and their impact in other countries. Women's representation in politics in Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland will be presented as well as strategies by NGOs such as 50:50 campaigns. Women politicians and those who have stood for election will talk of their experiences and participants will have an opportunity to voice their views on the issues.
