Eligibility to apply:

Community-based tourism and economic development Projects.
Projects must not compete with privately run projects of similar type and serving the same catchment/market in the area.
Contributions are currently normally limited to works of a capital nature. They will not in any circumstances apply to marketing costs, management/running costs, etc..
Project sponsors must demonstrate that they do not have funds to complete the project. The Council will only consider applications when sufficient funding has been approved in writing by other funding sources together with sufficient local fund raising efforts to enable the project to be completed.
