Substructures of Donegal CDB
In 2009, Donegal County Council conducted a comprehensive review of the CDB structures, strategies and process, as required by the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government. The sub structure system effectively works through a range of sectoral fora focusing on particular themes of development on a cross organisational basis. Arising from this CDB Review, which concluded in May 2009, dedicated fora were sanctioned in December 2009 to operate in the following areas:

- Green Economy Forum
- Tourism and Natural Resources Forum
- Social Inclusion Measures Co-ordination Group
- Cultural Resources Forum
- County Community Forum
